🌐 ACTIVITY: EXPLORING AND SHARING DIGITAL LEARNING RESOURCES

The objective of this discussion activity is to help you explore and share digital learning resources that can support your academic and professional development. By engaging in this activity, you’ll learn about various platforms, support organisations, and university resources that are available to you.

🛠️ Activity Instructions

Part 1: Identify a Resource ▼

1. Choose a Resource to Explore:

  • Select one of the resources mentioned in Section 2.11 (e.g., Khan Academy, Girls Who Code, Unisa Digital Skills Community) or any other educational or support resource you’re familiar with.
  • Spend some time exploring the resource. Visit its website, browse the available courses or programs, and take note of how this resource could benefit you in your studies or career development.
Part 2: Share Your Findings ▼

1. Post in the Microsoft Engage Community:

o In the Microsoft Engage community, find the discussion thread titled "Activity: Exploring and Sharing Digital Learning Resources" at https://bit.ly/unisadl6 or scan the QR code below:

o Steps:

  1. Create a new post in the thread and include the following:
  2. Name of the Resource: Clearly state which resource you explored.
  3. Overview: Provide a brief summary of what the resource offers, including its main features and benefits.
  4. Personal Reflection: Share your thoughts on how this resource could be useful to you. Consider how it aligns with your academic goals, interests, or career aspirations.
  5. Recommendation: Would you recommend this resource to your peers? Why or why not?
