Saving a Word document as PDF

It is often required that documents are saved as a PDF because this locks in the styling and layout,and prevents direct editing of the content. At various universities it is also a requirement and best practice in most assignments to upload a PDF version of your assignment.

Activity Steps

Let’s download our Assignment document as a PDF:

1 Click on File in the quick access bar.
2 Click on Save As on the left navigation.
3 Select Download as PDF.

We now have a downloaded PDF version of our document.
